Somerville Garden Club

Meeting – February 8, 7-9pm

Thoughts on Garden Design – Where to start when designing a garden? A good design can provoke feelings of calm, energy, meditation, charm, humor or whatever suits the gardener’s personality. Somerville Garden Club member Lori Fitz will share her personal experiences with several garden design projects including a large family garden in the midwest, her own Somerville garden, and several of the public sites maintained by the Somerville Garden club. She hopes this talk, including photos of gardens, will inspire other gardeners to start their own garden designs, either in new gardens, or revamping existing spaces.

All Somerville Garden Club meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at the Tufts Administration Building, (TAB), 167 Holland Street, second floor, wheelchair accessible. Parking is available, and the building is a ten-minute walk from the Davis Square MBTA stop.
