Somerville Garden Club

Meeting – December 8, 7:30-9pm

NOTE: There is a change in the location and time of tonight’s meeting. We will be holding the SGC meeting in the conference room at 167 Holland Street. This room is at the end of the second floor hallway (used to be the cafeteria). We have access to begin set up at 7:30 pm. The program committee will be serving cider and sparkling water (in the area at the top of the stairway) to any members who come early.

Holiday Decorating With Live Greens

Learn to make wreaths, swags, and centerpieces as SGC members share their techniques for creating evergreen decor for the holidays. As always, the monthly meeting will begin with announcements, then a roundtable discussion of plant problems, followed by the demonstration featuring live greens. A raffle of donated plants and garden items will round off the evening.

All Somerville Garden Club meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at the Tufts Administration Building, (TAB), 167 Holland Street, second floor, wheelchair accessible. Parking is available, and the building is a ten-minute walk from the Davis Square MBTA stop.
