Meeting – September 14th

Our Favorite Garden Tools and Tales

This roundtable-style meeting features Somerville Garden Club members telling their favorite garden stories and sharing their favorite gardening implements for a summer show-and-tell that is always enlightening and enjoyable.

All Somerville Garden Club meetings are free and open to the public. 7-9pm. Meetings are usually held the second Wednesday of each month at the Tufts Administration Building, (TAB), 167 Holland Street, second floor, wheelchair accessible. Parking is available, and the building is a ten-minute walk from the Davis Square MBTA stop.

On Saturday, September 17th we hold our popular yearly plant sale!
9am-1pm in Davis Square.
There will be hundreds of locally grown plants for sale. Garden Club members supply all of the plants from their gardens and greenhouses. Don’t miss out!

Garden Bounty

This Month we celebrate and focus on the bounty grown by Somerville Garden Club members. This is always a wonderful way to share a casual meal and get to know one another. Members will share samples of fresh or cooked produce from their own gardens, talk about growing the produce, and how their dish was prepared. There will also be a group exchange of gardening questions and answers.
