Eric Holt Gimenez, Executive Director of Food First/The Institute for Food and Development Policy, will introduce his new book “Food Movements Unite!” A panel discussion will follow with Eric, Will Masters (Tufts University), Saulo Araujo (Grassroots International) and a youth organizer from Alternatives for Community and Environment (ACE). The discussion will span the uprising of food movements and politics, from the global to local perspectives.

The 7th and 8th grade classes at the Somerville Healey School are raising money for their June trip to New York City. You can help us by sending this email to friends and family who might purchase bulbs for their gardens. All bulbs cost $10 for a package of each type. There is also a $5 flat rate shipping fee to anywhere in the continental USA. The Healey School will get 50% of what you spend on bulbs!
